Job Description:
We seek a highly motivated Hotel Manager to lead our Hatton Garden Hotel. This role requires an individual with a proven track record in hotel management who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and has the operational insight to manage our unique location efficiently. As the Hotel Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence while ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk services, housekeeping, and guest services, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
Promote a culture of excellence and teamwork to enhance the guest experience.
Implement and monitor hotel policies, procedures, and service standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
Work closely with the marketing team to promote the hotel’s unique location and services, optimising occupancy and revenue.
Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory control, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, particularly in the jewellery, food, and historic market sectors, to create partnerships and events that enhance the hotel’s presence in the community.
Monitor guest feedback through various channels, proactively addressing concerns and improving the overall guest experience.
Provide exceptional customer service, stepping in as needed during peak hours to support staff and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel management, preferably within boutique or city-based properties.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on delivering a personalised guest experience.
Familiarity with hotel management software systems (e.g., Mews, Opera, Amadeus) and front desk technology.
In-depth knowledge of local attractions and the ability to leverage this for hotel marketing and guest experience.
