Mother’s Day in London ❤️🌻
If you’re in London this Mother’s Day, our team have hand picked their favourite activities no matter what your mother loves!
For the afternoon – tea loving mother:
Whilst most cafes and tea parlours are doing a Mother’s Day special, we were particularly impressed with Dominique Ansel’s Bakery. Promising a bouquet of daffodils for mum and a wonderful selection of sweet and savoury options, this is an afternoon tea you will definitely want to be booking in advance (Belgravia)
For the artsy mother:
The Penguin Classic pop up store is offering you and mum the opportunity to create your own literature themed candles – we love the opportunity to combine two great hobbies to create a piece unique to you. (Close to our London Liverpool Street Hotel)
For the culture – loving mother:
Treat her to a Hidden London Tour – they take place in hidden tunnels all over the capital and she might even get to see first hand some of the secret filming locations for James Bond. (All over London)
For the foodie mother:
Borough market is without a doubt one of the best markets in London. Pick up some delicious food to go as you explore the market and then choose your favourite ingredients for her to whip up some delicious meals on your return home! (Borough!)
For the outdoorsy mother:
Hidden Depth Canal Cruises offer private trips along Regent’s Canal. Enjoy a relaxing cruise with just you and mum or bring the whole family along – their boats can accommodate up to 12 people. Starting and finishing by Granary Square this trip is close to our Kings Cross St Pancras Hotel. (Kings Cross)
For the tourist mother:
Book a meal at The Shard or Sky Garden for some of the best views across London. Alternatively, book a tour on the London Eye and then take a tour of the Southbank.
How will you be celebrating with your mother?
