Kings Cross is a very centrally-located area of London, making it easy to get around and make the most of your time in the city. If you are considering staying at our Mabledon Court Hotel in London Kings Cross, here’s how you can maximise your time in the city during your stay here.

Day 1

Your first day in London should be dedicated to seeing some of the city’s most iconic sites. In the morning, catch the tube to Waterloo Station, where you can start your explorations by visiting the London Eye, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. From there, you can travel by foot to Buckingham Palace. In the afternoon, we recommend taking adopting a more relaxed pace and enjoying a picnic in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. If the weather is nice, you could easily spend hours here, before heading back to your hotel and Kings Cross for dinner.

Day 2

Start your morning off by taking the Piccadilly Line to South Kensington, where you can visit any of the area’s famous museums. It’s up to you which museum most takes your interest, but they are all within easy access of the tube station here. In the afternoon or evening, we recommend booking a theatre show. Depending on the day of the week, you may be able to see a matinee show. Some of our favourite shows in London at the current time include The Lion King, Hamilton, and Wicked, but there are dozens of other options to choose from. In the evening, head over to Covent Garden or Leicester Square for dinner before catching the tube back to London St. Pancras and heading to bed.

Day 3

The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are two must-see sights in London, so this is where we recommend starting off your third day in the city. For art lovers, you can walk down to the Tate Modern in the afternoon, which often has new exhibits and limited-time offerings for visitors. Those with a greater interest in British history and art might prefer to visit The British Museum, which you can also easily access by tube. On your final evening, make sure you set some time aside to visit Oxford Street and Regent Street, which have some of the best shops in the city. They are the perfect streets for picking up souvenirs for your friends and family back home.

These are just a few of our favourite things to do over three days in London. The great thing about staying in London Kings Cross is that you will be just a few minutes away from the tube station here. This station is well connected to the rest of London and the UK as a whole, making it quick and easy to get around.
