Luna Cinema, Halloween Special, National History Museum

Luna Cinema is back for Halloween but, so you don’t have to brave the cold, screenings will be held at the Hintze Hall in  National History Museum. Films in the line up include the Blair Witch Project, The Silence of the Lambs, Ghostbusters and The Shining. Cinema tickets also include access to the Life in the Dark Exhibition.


Ghost Tours, Hampton Court Palace

It has been said that staff have seen ghosts at Hampton Court – the most famous being Catherine Howard, the 5th wife of King Henry VIII. If you’re ready to come face to face with the ghosts from the British monarchy, head down to the Palace for one of their Halloween ghost tours.


Paint the Scream: Farringdon

Pop Up Painting is having a go at recreating Edvard Munch’s The Scream this Halloween. But if that’s too much horror for you, they are also mixing up some Munch and some Van Gogh to create ‘The Scream on a Starry Night’.

London Horror Festival at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Camden Town

Located near our Kings Cross hotel, the London Horror Festival presents over 30 productions of horror in the performing arts. Show highlights include 3 Frankenstein productions; Werewolf: Live from the Edinburgh Fringe and Midnight Horror from the Chamber Piece Theatre.

The Making of Harry Potter: Dark Arts, Warner Bros Studio

Learn wand combat moves and dual with a Death Eater as the Harry Potter set is transformed into an interactive Halloween battle ground.


Ascarium at the Aquarium

A sea witch is on the loose at the aquarium this Halloween. Help her find the magic ingredients to finish her spell. If your ingredients are good enough, you might even be able to share some of the treasure with her.


Gruesome Nature Live, ZSL London Zoo

Kids will be led on a sing-a-long adventure about some of the toughest species on the planet. Discover the lizard that squirts blood out of its eyes and hear about a tongue eating parasite on your quest to learn about the most gruesome parts of the animal kingdom.
