A Journey on the Elizabeth Line

The Elizabeth Line has recently opened in London, offering another way to get around the city. If you haven’t already taken a trip on this new line, it’s well worth setting some time aside on your next visit to London to see what it has to offer and visit some of the key stops on the line. Keep reading as we highlight three of the best stops on the Elizabeth Line, all of which we have properties nearby to. You’ll find some great things to see and do at all of these stops, offering you hours of entertainment in the city.

Tottenham Court Road

Tottenham Court Road is the ideal place to get off the Elizabeth Line if you are looking to enjoy a West End show. You’ll be within walking distance of many of the best theatres in the city, all of which are reopened now ready to welcome visitors from around the world. If you aren’t sure what to see, we recommend heading to the ticket booth in Leicester Square, which offers some great last minute deals. You’ll also find Tottenham Court Road is a great stop for dining and shopping, as there really is something to suit everyone’s tastes here.

Liverpool Street

Brick Lane is a highlight of a visit to this area, which is a fantastic part of London to walk around and explore. Once you get off the Elizabeth Line at Liverpool Street, you’ll find endless places to explore, including Shoreditch and many fantastic dining locations. This is a great spot to visit come night-time, where the area really comes alive when all of the restaurants open. We also really love the street art that you’ll find in this area, allowing you to appreciate the talents of the artists who live in London.

Farringdon

Another station that you can now access via the Elizabeth Line is Farringdon, which is a convenient location for anyone planning a weekend stay in London. When you are here, check out Smithfield Market, which is sometimes called London Central Market. This meat and poultry marketplace is a fantastic site for anyone to visit, and we highly recommend checking it out when you are in the area. After your walk around here, find a local pub to enjoy some classic British grub, which there are no shortage of in the Farringdon area.

The addition of the Elizabeth Line is a huge development for both visitors and locals to London. Make sure you set aside a few hours on your next visit to London to explore the areas we’ve shared above, all of which are home to one of our properties. We are excited to have another way for our guests to get around the city, making it more convenient than ever before to explore when you are short on time.
